Default RSX leather seats and side moldings

I was looking around the internet for some information and I stumbled across this site, so Im new... I was wondering if leather seats from a 2000 rsx would fit in my EG? Has anyone done anything similar? I found a pair on ebay for $300
And the side moldings on my car have seen better days, now they're all faded, what would be a good way to restore them. They're a total eyesore.

Well chances are if you got them to fit in your EK, itll work in an EG.

Don't expect it to be a bolt in affair, however.

i have a full set of front and rears in my ek coupe. deffinitly NOT a bolt in affair but if you can fabricate and weld your good to go.

and about the side mouldings. i think they make a spray paint specifically for mouldings. its supposed to leave the finish that looks oem. can't help you any more than that but search around im sure someone knows what its called.

How hard is it to take the side moldings off of my car? Would I break the clips trying to get them off? And would I have to remove my door pannels to get them off?

I was thinking about painting them, or maybe cuting the side molding out and welding in a plate, but thats only if I paint my car..

you have to remove the mouldings from the inside. so you can pinch the tabs. it is a little bit of a pain but eh it'll be worth it. it'll really help the look of the car.

if you shave them just be very careful you don't warp the panel while welding. take your time and plan ahead on that one

You cant buy rails to put them in another car, and you can put them in withiout welding.

mine are in with just nuts and bolts and have been for far too long. with just lock washers i've noticed they begin to loosen after 6 months. so im going to weld them in like i should have done a while ago.
