Default euro r/civic

i put a 2001 h22 accord euro r engine in my 92 civic ex. the problem is when i first start it after it has been sitting for a few hours, i have to let it warm up for at least 20 minutes, if i dont it hesitates and will only rev to 3000 and after a minute it starts to overheat. if i drive it after the 20 minute warm up it has trouble getting past 3000 but when it does it definitely goes fast, but will still run rough when idling. i am running the stock euro r ecu and the stock civic fuel pump. could the problem be contributed to the fuel pump?

it could be that the fuel pump is not letting much fuel in to the engine and the engine go rough trying to get fuel. civic is known as to save gas.

:werd: you should try changing the fuel pump to a higher flowing one and also change the filter too if you havent done so just for precautions.

did you use the obd2 harness or the obd1 -> obd2 conversion harness.
