Default Very old into new?

I just got an old 87 integra sold to me for a case of beer! I've been planning on turning my 98 Civic Si (d16y8) into a project car, but can't have much down time until i can get a second vehicle (truck). So i can spend the next little while building this D16A1 then when time permits put it in my EJ. Would it be a total nightmare trying to put this pre-OBD engine in my OBD2 body? Or can i just use the integra ECU and toss all those sensors. Or should i have kept the case of beer.....

don't bother, its not worth the time, and I'm guessing you are from canada so I don't know the rules about that there, but in the states you can't put an engine in your car that is older than the car

The part of canada im from doesn't care about emissions, so thats not a problem. Besides all that legality bulls**t, would it be that difficult?

a case of beer, good job. The D16A1 has a differently located motor mount on the front of it, i think there is a conversion kit out there but may be discontinued but you may find one floating. Also You will have to rewire the whole car. The d16 can be made to quite a fun engine for a reasonable rate but the conversion will suck to fit it into the civ.
