Default Custom ITBs!

I wanna build a custom set of individual throttle bodies. I heard u can get them off a bike (CBR, or GSX-r) and get a special weld and make ur ITB's. Is this true? and what is the process in doing this?

this is not a project a novice should jump into. but if you really want to make your own set, there are numerous write ups on h-t. may i ask why you want itb's? what other mods do you have?

yes they work fenomenal on BUILT b's. Also they suck up fuel and are a bastard to tune. They dont mix well with hondata, and they have idle problems, other than that, they are gold if you NEED them.

well i did some reading, and it seems like a big part of n/a. if i take it to a dyno and let pro's tune it/build it. i should be ok think. it'd be a good power gain. but you know anyone that has actualy built their own set?

Just the homemadeturbo guys. That's actually the only set I've seen that weren't proffesionally made on a K.

Should be easier if not the same.

ITB's are a great project imo, but not on a stock B.(although stockers will benefit from them as well.)
