Default 93 cx hatch swap?

I have a 93 cx hatch with a b20b in it, i bought me a b16a (SIR II) to swap. What do i need for the wiring part of the swap? Will the harness from the motor plug into the shock tower plugs or what do i need to do to get it running? Oh and what is the best ecu for this application?

Are you going to swap the whole engine or just the head?

Use the b16 ecu and harness if you're swapping the engine. Don't see why you wouldn't just swap the head though.

leave the b20 and slap on the b16a trans....dont trade a b20 for a b16a...I would have much rather done a b20 swap than my b16

The B20/VTEC is the holy grail of Frankenstein Honda motors (other than K20a/K24 ... ooh) and will DOMINATE a stock B16. You should use the B20 block (get new ARP rod bolts installed for higher RPMs), the B16 trans, and the B16 head. Get an LS/VTEC kit from somewhere like golden eagle for the headgasket and oil lines. Use the B16 ECU, and raise fuel pressure or chip and tune it with Crome. You will run too lean with the B16 ECU on the B20/VTEC motor.

B20+boost= Cracked Sleeves, cracked ring lands (which i have already fixed once)!!! Looked into buildingthe b20 but the closed deck sleeves are really hard to find and when i did find them they were two or three times the price to do it compared to a b18c or b16a. SO...... I want to start with a b16 and build it
