Default vtec light

hey, well i tried this, but what happens is, i have the led connected to the green with yellow stripe going to ecu and neg wire to ground bolt, well, i put ignition key in and click it to the one before the starter goes, well the led blinks then the fuel pump primes then the led is back on, but when i start the car led turns off, so i thought to try it, but no go, vtec light dont turn on...

any ideas?

thanks

vtec light needs 2 wires, a neg and a 12v positive that goes hot when the vtec is engauged. All you gotta do is ground the negative to body or whatever. Then splice the vtec solinoid to your vtec light. Its a big capacitor looking thingie behind the valve cover on the passenger side. It has 1 wire commin out of it. This wire sends +12v when vtec kicks in.

your car has no oil in it. The vtec wont engage and the light isnt working because your oil level is way to low. DANGER WILL ROBINSON. Fill that biatch up NOW. Get it to the top dot and then come and tell us how many quarts you had to put in. Then tell us if the car smokes a lot when you gun it or on deceleration, cus that oil is going somewhere.

ok well heres a vid of what the vtec is doing http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZmQzMXk1NDE%3D

when the key is in POS I, you notice the LED blinks once, during the interval the led is not on to the time it turns on the fuel pump is priming... then i start the car led turns off... the led never turns on when i hit vtec... i changed the oil yesterday...
i can hear it going into vtec cause its like wahhhh weeee type of thing after 5500 roughly....

heres the pic of where i put the wire to http://img240.echo.cx/my.php?image=picture0013bh.jpg

You are more worried about having a vtec light working then having oil in the engine.

Great.
