depends on exactly how much streetability you want and what you're willing to put up with. and how deep the rabbit hole in your wallet goes.

Tell that to bisimoto

Bisimoto Engineering is heavily involved in the Sport Compact race scene as well. The Team 400m CRX serves as a test bed for a majority of our products. The car 4882 currently has multiple world records in the pro stock/all motor class using a naturally aspirated SOHC Honda engine. Accolades this past season includes a 2003 IDRC All Motor Class Championship.

The 2004 race season held vast potential for our team. With a best elapsed time of 10.02 and a best mph of 138.48 at sanctioned events, powerplant upgrades and testing occurred, yielding significant performance improvements of 9.81 second elapsed times.
Granted its a full drag setup, but hey anythings possible with a deep enough wallet.

yeah, but with the amount of money he spent on it, it not being reliable enough to drive everyday, and the lightness of the car it was in makes it unreasonable to even try to duplicate.

For the amount of money you would spend to get 150 WHP out of a d-series, without FI or nitrous I could make more power for half the money.

My only point was that its not retarded to build a n/a d-series... there are many different ways to get fairly-quick without spending a ton of $$$

Atleast someone has brains on this forum. Maybe i think its retarded to boost, but i havent once said dont boost. All i asked was a simple question, i just wanted to know how much whp i could get out of my engine n/a. It seems lately, all Honda enthusiest want to do is drop a B18c1 into their lil civics and boost and get around 300whp...why do you need 300whp on a daily driven car? Are you constantly at the drag stip from the time you go to work/school till you get home? i dont think so. 300whp can propell a stipped and pure drag civic down the 1/4 in less then 9.9 secs, you dont need that for everyday, so now, if you feel like knocking on my ideas, think about what you are trying to do or what everyone else is trying to do.
