Default oil leak inside distributor

Hello,
I have an 89 honda civic that is leaking oil from inside the distributor.
I took off the distributor cap and it is wet with oil.
my question is , is there a seal or o ring or bushing that needs to be replaced?
and if so how complicated is this to do?
I would appreciate any advice or instruction on this matter.
Thank You

there is an o ring on the outside of the distributor on the rotor shaft, however, if your distrubutor bearing is wearing thin, it will cause lateral movement of the rotor shaft causing the seal to malfunction

If the internal seal is gone. You must replace the whole distributor assembly.
