Default Rough Idle

My '98 LX has been undergoing some rough idle, not sure why and I don't want to bring it to the shop just yet because it doesn't happen all the time, only sometimes while driving the car's idling is normal, around 700rpm.

Sometimes while the car's idling, the inside shakes, I can feel the rattle of some of the interior pieces, (coins in the drink holder). I'd like to get an idea of what the problem is before bringing it to the shop, so I can kind of narrow it down before telling the mechanic what the problem is exactly.

could it be the belts?

unfotunatly to set it you need the right tools, easier to take it to a mechanic. Maybe a new cat. This is what I put in my car and helped a lot for the idiling, real easy to install, just connect to the battery, trust me its good, it works for me.

Dont worry there all universal dont pay attention to the name

try replacing/cleaning you fuel injectors, spark plugs and spark plug wires. thats what i did for a B series when i was going thru similar bs. and considering you are at 150,000km - i would assume its time for a service.

I thought about getting one of those battery stabilizers, the one by Sun Auto is mad expensive, I found a few knockoff ones but not sure if they really do the job

Here's the one I found at a local store: http://fore6767.hp.infoseek.co.jp/page104.html

As for the idle, I just changed my Spark Plugs about a month ago, could it be I didn't torque them correctly? I used a torque wrench to the correct torques..

How much would new fuel injectors go for? Are they easy to change myself?

For the stabilizer they all work the same, dont get caught up in the price, just get the cheapest one. If you didnt toruqe them right when you take off your car would stuter

Well once I replaced the spark plugs a month ago, it didn't stuter or anything, everything was fine so I don't think it's the spark plugs
