compression help!!!

Default compression help!!!

whats the right compression for an 85 crx Si? im getting 140, 145, 140, 142

now i look at the haynes manual and all they are showing for compression is the ratio... which is 8.7:1

help please!!!

Compression ratio of the engine, and compression of each cylinder are two completely different things. The numbers are consistant which is a very good thing. I don't know what the factory numbers are, but it looks like it should be on the money.

i just head that the highest is 150 and loswet is 130.. so i guess im good with that.... does anyone know how much power difference im at compared to stock(back in 85)?

The numbers are very consistent, so I would say that it is fine.

That's just peachy for an 8.7:1 engine. It should be running not far from how it was originally, assuming you have good injectors, a clean air filter, a clean fuel filter, etc.
