Default Clutch question

This morning I got in my car to go get some gas and I pressed in on the clutch pedal and there was no pressure. However, the car still started. I can't put it into gear or anything like that but it still started. When you press down on the pedal it just stays pressed down unless you physically grab it and pull it back out. I checked the clutch master cylinder and I was pretty low (below the minimum line) with fluid so I added some DOT3 brake fluid and still nothing. So I checked the release cylinder and it seems to be leaking. I've heard that if the fluid level in the master cylinder gets too low you can get air in there and have to bleed the clutch line from the release cylinder. Any suggestions on what to do ? I'm taking it down to the mechanic tommorow but just wondering if there was anything I could try.

*I just recently, about 4 months ago, replaced my stock clutch with an ACT HDSS clutch kit and an XACT 10lb. flywheel if it makes any difference. The car was running fine yesterday and just started acting up this morning.
