Default GSR engine but i have D16y8 gauges...need help

I got my b18c1 put in today but i was curious because i kno that the gsr motor redlines at 8100rpms..however the engine that was in there before was a d16y8 (98 civic ex) and that redlined at about 7000rpms

In other words..I have a 7000 redlined gauge reading a 8100 redlining motor

..would the gauge be accurate?
..what cluster would i have to get for the 8100 rpm redline gauge?

You can always swap a GSR cluster in. Check the online resources sticky for more info.
