got my bar, no bolts

what are the bolts i need to get? is the body threaded, do i need to get correct thread pitch and size, or can i just get anything this will fit throuhg the hole.

if anyone has good info, shoot me here.

 

which strut bar?

 

If your talking about the Rear because it should have 4 bolts and 4 screws. And if that is what you talking about anything that will fit inside that hole will work fine. I think mine are 14mm bolts.

 

im talking about front top, the one where there are 4 plastic doo hickeys in the holes around the strut tower. the seller assumed they belonged with his car and it sounds like he's hanging on to them. i think the easiest thing to do would be to find a good substitute.

 

just pop the rubber caps out, slap in some hardware store bolts in there and tighten em up. It's not threaded.

 

You might need a friend to help you sqeeze the bar in place too

 

if you jack the car the bar will fall in place.

 

Yeah...we did that too. It might of been the car we worked on :dunno:

 

well i think one big dopey white guy should be able to create at least the amount of force exerted by a pair of skinny asians
