Default Compression test

I did a compression test on my '92 civic today and noticed the cylinder closest to the dizzy has the worst readings (80psi). It jumped up to 200 psi with oil added in the cylinder. The next cylinder over wasn't too bad at 120psi but jumped up with oil added.

I guess new rings are in the near future.

I also noticed the spark plugs have white stuff caked on. The ones with the lowest compression had more white stuff caked on. Where could this come from? Am I running too hot? The temp. guage seems normal (hasn't moved up).

Default white stuff

sounds a little wet and hot to me. Get new plugs, your compression is fine, that compression drop is from fuel not getting burnt and washing the cylinder walls, i suggest replace plugs, set timing. and changing the oil as it is contaminated with fuel.
