214/40/16s work, but it will mess up your speedo.

the rims that i posted a picture of earlier in the thread have a 45mm + offset which is about as far as i would go (personaly). i can handle minimal ammounts of rubbing but if it is going to start wearing paint off, destroying fender walls and such it just isnt worth it to me.

But that's not his reasoning behind the comment. He has coilovers so he wouldn't have to worry about rubbing, he could just raise it back up some if he's dropped too low.
