You can buy the shifter from a dealer if you really want a new one and want to pay out your ass for it (~$70 + ~$120 knob). There is nothing wrong with a used shifter unless you are picky and dont think that your boot will cover any imperfections. I myself like the GSR shifter.

Go buy a used one. New ones w/ a knob are about $150 + shipping.

Have you considered a short shifter?

I don't care for most short shifters. Too low, rattle against the exhaust, or they're just expensive. That's why I am happy with the Integra GSR shifter in my Civic and I got it for $20.
