99 civic SI ecu...
Im planning to do a B16A2 into my EK.. The swap comes with everything including but i need to know if the SI ecu which is a OBD2 will plug right into my stock wire harness... i know ill have to do some wire mods... but the ecu should plug in directly... right.......????
yes it will plug... does you engine came with vtec?? if id didnt.. you gonna have to add like 4 wires.. one for the knock sensor, another one for the vtec solenoid, and the other two for the vtec oil pressure sensor...
if you have a 99-00 then just use the B16a2 engine harness just have to wire up the 2nd O2 if you have a 96-98 then you will need a custom harness as the 99-00 EK has the OBD2b the plugs will fit but wrong pin assignment.

Then its obd2a and you will need a jumper to make it obd2b.
At that point I cant justify using the em1 ecu. Get the jumper and go with a p30. If you can find an ecu from a 96-97 del sol vtec then you'll be set...but good luck with that one.

since you have a 96 then you can try to find a jumper harness (rare) or try to repin the ecu plugs (2hours) or use a 96-97 del-sol ecu (plug-n-play) but since I live in california and the car I did the swap had to pass inspection
I repined the ecu plugs .
I repined the ecu plugs .
