I concur with the ppls on here.
Mixing and switching over is bad idea.Just stick with the castrol."If it ain't broke,don't fix it."

Sounds like good advice. I think I'll just stick to the Castrol GTX.

I still would be weary of mixing the oils.I am just basing my opinion on the experiences of others. So based on that i will not be mixing oils.I have also heard that if you do switch you need to make sure all the non synth. stuff is drained before switching over.Don't know how true that is,but for my money i have had 0 probs with Non synth oil.

I went from regular oil, drained it, to synthetic without a 0w-20 flush. No problems so far.

For every person who says don't mix it, I find someone who says it's ok. One interesting quote was, "what do you think the synthetic blends that they sell are? (mix of regular and synthetic)"

well you wen rom regular to synthetic that is fine, you cant go from synthetic to regular
