cap n rotor
#2
when I put mine in, I threw a CEL and my gas mileage remained shitty. I had a garage replace the dizzy, they reused the new cap. and now with the new fuel filter they put on, the car runs normal

could be the cap and rotor itself. Aftermarket caps are crap and they they wear though quickly and cause rinning problems. It also may be defective and the spark is jumping to cylinders its not suppose to.

Oh nice... just stomp on it a few times,,, that will do the trick... lol.
Take if off and look at the contacts and tell us what they look like.
Also what did you get, aluminum or brass?
Brass wears better than aluminum, and it has been said that aluminum conducts better than brass.
From my experience, if the aluminum wears faster, and you dont replace it when it needs replacing, then your spark will be weak, so I go with brass, its more consistant, even if its not a stronger spark.
