Default Whistling sound :wtf:

I put in my short ram air intake, and now this whistling sound comes out of my car (sounds like the passenger side), but you can only hear it if I'm below the vtec range, and if I'm not pressing the gas down to hard. Any clue what it might be, and if it's bad, or not a problem?

It's normal. It is just the sound of the air traveling through the filter making the noise. Most of my friend's with these setups have the same thing. It is more noticable with a supercharger hooked up to it.

lmao :chuckles: wned: :fawk:

not exactly a newbie, tho. I had a '90 accord ex, and had an intake on there as well, but it didn't make that sound, or if it did, I never noticed it. Is it something to do with the vtec? or smaller displacement? That accord was a 2.2 notec, so I was just trying to figure out an explination if anyone asked.

no that doesnt sound normal dood, i think it has to do with ur intake chamber combustion area in which the intake has let too much air in and now u have a hole in ur cylinder wall, which is causin the whistlin noise. might wanna get it check out.

:naughty:
