Jus Did A Swap...cant Start It...need Help
-jus swapped 2000 EX motor for 95 LS with B16 tranny, six-puck, b&M sh. shift...GSR flywheel...and all axles, blah blahh....now my prob. is that i am using my 2000 EX wire Harness...with a b16 computer....everything h0oks up...even tha fuel injector....( i pulled out LS injector and used EX injectors)...i modified my alternator harness so it can fit my EX setup...i started da car with the SOHC Distributer...but when i rev...i get backfire...so im figuring i mite jump timing or fry the SOHC distrubuter....so i bought a 96 LS distributer ( 96 because its single plug )....and now it dosnt clip up to my EX harness....wat da hell am i suppose to do...wat distributer to use????

ok, so you are using a b16 ecu (p30 I assume?) with an LS engine? thats your first problem. You need to get an LS ecu, and I'd go with obd1 if I were you to prevent complications. get the obd1 p75, and then use your stock ex wiring harness, and a stock 99-00 LS distrib and you should be golden. You're also going to need obd2b to obd1 conversion harness

Check the relays, since your car was an EX it had Vtec, but you used your SOHC dizzy? theres another one of your problems, your using a SOHC vtec dizzy to a DOHC non vtec engine, as stated get the proper dizzy,
