Default Front strut tower bar

I just got my Skunk2 front strut tower bar for my 97 Civic DX and it wont go in b/c the stock air filter is in the way. I would get an intake but Im gonna swap to a B18 GSr at the end of the summer and I dont know if the intake will swap ove too. WHat should I do?

so it wont fit now and a new intake for this motor wont swap over?

no and no. if u get a new intake now, it will fit, but it wont carry over to ur swap. i say just wait. its just a strut bar, doesnt do miracles, so u should hold off.

Doesn't the DX have the throttle body that points upwards?

If you really want the strut bar, get a cheap intake off ebay for now, or make one.

the 96+ DXs have the TB facing upward so yea there would be clearence issues, i would just wait.

Cool. Also Im contemplating getting the rear disc conversion for my DX and I was wondering if it was really worth the 300+ including new Brembo rotors and pads for all four wheels. Let me know what you guys think.

4 wheel discs are nice. I'd say go for it if you have the cash to spend.
