Default Aftermarket LCA

ok, some of you may have seen my post about the washer trick. well, in order for me to get pretty close to 0 degree, i gotta add like 4 or 5 washers. however, i was looking around at some retailers and came upon some omnipower lca's. it says they are shorter than stock, to help bring the bottom in, therefore making my tire have less camber. is this true? does anyone know how much shorter they are? im trying to decide if i wanna buy a pair

I'd trust omnipower. But I guess look at consumer reviews?

from robear racing:

LCA's are an essential part to your car's suspension. When lowering your car your wheels will start to butterfly inward at the top which makes your tires ride on the edge. This increases wear on your tires as the sidewalls are the weakest part of your tire. This also means that there is less tire on the ground which means loss of traction around turns. LCA's reduce camber so that more of your tire touches the ground, keep your tires from rubbing your fender and allow for a wider wheel and tire combination. These LCA's provide light-weight performance with an enhanced appearance to your suspension.

u do not need to get to 0 degree spec. even at -1 u wil be fine. hondas come from the factory with neg camber. just get an alignment to make sure ur toe is in spec.

Why don't they give any specifications for the LCA's so we know HOW MUCH they will affect camber?

Omni lcas are not shorter than stock. They do not fix camber. The only ones that do are the SPC and its stupid to get those to fix camber. Camber wasnt meant to be adjusted that way.

negative camber isnt that bad if its close to spec, i have a front camber kit and its still has some negative camber, i only had bad tire wear when the toe was out of spec on both the front and back.
