I used to drive a 94 z28 that got about 13 mpg. And I am in So Cal. It obviously has to have 91 octane because of the high compression. Down here it was at 2.97 a gallon before the prices dropped a little bit to about 2.80 for 91. That is the main reason I am looking into a honda for my daily driver. You guys have it good, especially the ones that don't live in So Cal

you guys (and gals) have nothing to complain about, here in Japan, a liter of Hi Octane is 129yen. It takes 4500yen to fill up my Civic. Thats almost $50.

they just opened a stop & shop gas station and they give a discount if you have a stop & shop card. Its 5 centets off for 87 and 10 centents off 91 and 93. Thats not much but it helps a little.

K looked at my receipts on my car floor. With the 87 it was 17.31 and my first 91 was 25.87 about 7$ x 1 time a week x 52= quite a difference.

You have already changed from your first post. I bet you're not even comparing the same amount of gas. Or even in the same time frame. If you're going to make a comparison, use the same criteria

Before I didn't look at my receipts. I just took an estimated guess. the 87 is from april 19th, the 91 was may 2nd. So like 13 days or so. The 87 was added to like a 1/8th full tank, and the 91 was pass the E so I didn't have much 87 left when I filled up on 91 for the first time. No need to really get anal about this subject.

Edit~I mean 93, I'm thinking of the wrong gas station, the getty has 93 the texaco has 91, I filled up at the getty.
