Haha, I just point and laugh @ all the idiots in their SUV's. I feel sorry for those guys in Navigators who have to put 91 octane in, or ping the shit outta their motor. :chuckles:

I paid $2.76 for 91 octane last time I filled up in Socal, so I don't know where you are getting your gas, but I want a piece. (As long as it isn't Arco)

Yeah, Huntington Beach is known for lower prices. Costa Mesa has terrible prices and where I live in Lake Forest has in between the two.

I have seen that it has gone down since I bought gas last time.

out in the suburbs of philly it's like 2.19...so i guess i shouldn't complain too much...but still...when you're used to 1.20 a gallon for gass and it rises to what it is now...that's pretty dramtic....sheesh..i remember one summer like 3 years ago it was like .89 a gallon by me....i guess we'll just have to get comfortable with 2.19 a gallon...or we could all outfit out cars for ethanol and run that...it's bout the same price w/more performance...and it would boost the economy for the farmers too!

Exactly, you guys need to keep things in perspective. These Hondas, even the ones required to use 91-93oct, get pretty good gas mileage. The D-series engines get ridiculous gas mileage for the fun you can have with them.

My buddy's Rumblebee gets 14mpg on 89oct. I get 19-20mpg on 91oct in my WRX. It's funny that you guys are complaining b/c I am so thankful when I pull into the gas station in my EG hatch!

It must be rediculous up there. There's no way that you're going to jump $12 in gas by moving up to 93 octane considering it's usually no more than thirty cent more than regular. I can fill up from a quarter tank of gas for around $20 with 93 octane.
