Well, I tried putting my AEM ram on my b16 today. Didn't fit, duh. So I put the stock black tube on and stuck the cone filter on the end. It didn't fit over the intake tube so I kinda crammed it inside. It's in there so snug I can't get it back out, I'd have to cut it out. But this should work anyway right?

Well. There's a difference between rice and ingenuity. I did just spend about 2,500$ on my swap. Ontop of insurance, gas money, leisures, bills, and taxes, I can't afford to go out and buy another 100$ intake when I got this last one about 3 months ago. And there's no sence in getting another if I'm going to boost around September. If that's all the input you're gonna give, please, fuck off.

Ditto, not all of us can spend our paychecks entirely on our cars and eat ramen all day... if all else fails, use a zip tie, or 2 :bigok:

oh and if it dont fall off, then its fine... i knew someone who used a pantyhose and a rubber band for a while o_O

:werd: What motor did you have? Unless it was a D16Y7 it should fit. Unless the silicone hose was too small for the TB.

In any case, I rocked the ghetto short ram for a bit too. Until the filter element fell off when driving. It ripped off the backing plate of the filter, it didn't fall off the tube. Just make a braket to support it until you can get your AEM intake to fit...

I had a d15 1.5. The coupler for the TB didn't fit, so I worked it on there really good, but then the ram didn't fit snugly into the coupler it just kinda flopped around. Then #2 it didn't line up with the bracket on the shock tower.
