Default Header problem

I installed my headers, but as i was tightne the bolts back no the manifold one of the 8 s2tuds broke....do u guys think this will cause a problem?

yes, I think it will.

Just pull the stud and replace it, not too much of a big deal. If you don't you will get exhaust leaks like crazy, guaranteed.

well the dude that asisted me sdaid that since where the postion of the stud is at (the outter right edge) it wouldnt be that much, if any of a problem

Well, it's there for a reason .

I can almost guarantee you will have an issue, if not immedietely it will become one later on in the life of the car.

Don't do things half-ass just to get it done Do it properly, pull the stud and replace it. A problem fixed now is a problem you won't have to deal with in the future!

I remember installing headers in my old car... the bolt on it broke when i was tightening it.....I drove that car 30,000 miles+ and it never leaked....it still doesnt leak.

one of the outter edge ones would be the worst to leave alone anyways!

That's funny, I only have one header...

I'd get it replaced, especially since it's an outer stud.

The point being , your spending the money on replacing the header, just to have an inefficient exhaust leak because of laziness, silly.

Just because it doesnt happend to you...
