Well, it's there for a reason .
I can almost guarantee you will have an issue, if not immedietely it will become one later on in the life of the car.
Don't do things half-ass just to get it done Do it properly, pull the stud and replace it. A problem fixed now is a problem you won't have to deal with in the future!
I remember installing headers in my old car... the bolt on it broke when i was tightening it.....I drove that car 30,000 miles+ and it never leaked....it still doesnt leak.

The point being , your spending the money on replacing the header, just to have an inefficient exhaust leak because of laziness, silly.
