Default New Car

Hey all. I was considering buying a new 04 or 05 Civic EX. I know they arent the fastest thing on the block. I guess my question is, can you get them to have decent power? I am talking about being realistic, between 170-200 hp. Im sure getting some sort of forced induction is the way to go. Is it safe? Will it void the warranty? What other parts will I need to keep the engine up to speed if a forced induction system is installed? Thanks.

It will mos def void the warranty on any engine parts. ANd you could easily get a civic ex up to 170-180 with a turbo setup. Even on stock internals. You just have to get it well tuned. Im pretty sure you can get a used rsx for the same price and you will be much faster stock. And all motor is more reliable then a turbo.Aren't the new civic's 13-16g's.

The 04-05 civics are nice. Don't be fooled by the low #'s, they are pretty fun cars to drive, but don't get an EX, go LX they weigh less and have the same conveniance options....Unless you really like those wheels and need a sunroof.
