Hi, I was thinking about getting some altezzas, but then i kept reading about them and a lot of people on here are like "keep your factory lights." I'm just wondering why is everyone against them and what are some problems with them and/or how to fix them.If there are any problems.

most people think they are gaudy.
They are generally a very cheap low quality product. Tend to leak, fogged up lenses Hummm cAnt really think of anything else right now tho

 

They're ugly, look tacky, have piss poor quality, poor light output, even poorer light output when the lenses get all fogged up due to condensation.....need I go on?

 

APC is crap. TYC is a good brand. but it is all up to you. I like some of them, and not others. And like was said most are poor quality, but TYC is good

 

You won't be blowing past anyone since you spent $100 on ugly taillights instead of something that actually makes you faster.

"Altezza" type aftermarket lights are a piss-poor attempt to replicate the tail style of the Toyota Altezza. Gain some experience in the import community, and you'll realize how much of a dumbass you'll look like with those.Blowing past Kias, perhaps. :chuckles:

 

If you like them, get them. Don't let people on the site dictate how you're going to customize your car. I got a set if you want. I'll let'em go cheap. I got pics.
