I"ve searched but couldn't find any pics of the 96-98 OEM front lip, the only one I could find was the small chin front spoiler,


What I'm looking for is the front lip from this lip kit.. kind hard to see sorry, but it's larger then the chin spoiler

It is the oem lip. Thats the only one there is other than ctr

 

nope there are two oem front lips, and I'm not talking about the CTR one

The first one is the CTR front lip, and the second one is the SiR lip

 

As you said, the first one you listed was the OEM "Chin spoiler" (I have a painted one on my car) and the second one is the OEM "Front Under Spoiler". You can still get the chin spoiler, but the OEM Front Under Spoiler (and the rest of the body kit for that matter) for '96-'98s have been discontinued for about 3 years at this point. I got my OEM rear lip in May of '02, and it was one of the last ones available anywhere. Your best bet is to just get a CTR replica lip from a reputable place. If you find a decent one, it will be near OEM quality, and will look the same.

 

....or you can order a real ctr lip from japan. now THAT'S OEM quality

 

u guys aren't getting it.. it's not the CTR one. I'll browse around some more I guess and find a pic of it and post it here to show u guys.

Reason I'm asking this I'm deciding whether I should ditch my current replica type R front lip and get the oem front lip instead. and I also have the OEM rear lip for the 96-98.

 

yeah, the chin spoiler was different than the option front/rear lips. I've only see one car with the optional front lip, and that was on the net.

real CTR lip is about $400

 

and PDiggityDogg, I got that pic years ago probably from here cause I was looking into getting the fogs, didn't eventually
