Every time i drive I notice that when i let off the gas and put my feet on the pedal again slightly, the car shutters. when i give it more pressure it feels like it shutters and then comes loose from something? it only happens when i do this. it does this every time when i let off the pedal and engage the pedal again softley, not when i engage the pedal normally or rough. what could it be?

130,000 or so miles.

 

you have a heat damaged flywheel...get a new clutch and have the flywheel resurfaced, or get a new one...
