The coupe, sedan and hatch share same front bumpers on 96-00 civics(meaning all years are interchangable if you swap headlights, grills, bumpers and fenders; 96-98, 99-00). The hatch is the only one with a different rear bumper. The rear bumpers can interchange between 96-98 and 99-00 with no problem on coupes and sedans.

That is all true IF we were talking about 6th gen civics.
I think we are talking about the 5th gen,since his first post said that the sedan bumper will not fit coupe/hatches,which holds true.

Interesting.

I assume he means 5th gen.

Not too many people go from the coupe to the sedan bumper.

The sedan bumper is wider so it may bulge out behind the corners.

It wouldn't take much to make it fit.
