Default Need help locating speed sensor wire IN cabin & reverse switch...

Hi,
i purchased this neat toy that displays vehicle dynamics on screen... its mounted underneath my seat, and i have all the wires hooked up except for two: the vehicle speed sensor and the "back lamp" sensor (that detects reverse). i need to hook up these two to make the unit work properly.

i have a haynes manual but there is 10 pages of wiring diagrams and i don't know what is where - and i really need to keep these wires IN car, not to the engine bay. can anyone tell me where they are?

i have a '93 sedan with a manual tranny
please tell me there is a way i can get this going without running additional wires into the engine bay! (the wires off the unit come with the splice connectors already attached - i am guessing i just add them on to a wire somewhere under the dash)

thanks!
