this is my first cai and when i step on the gas..it make a loud psshhhh sound.is this normal??? it sounds kind of funny to me

 

If you have an AEM Cold Air Intake then you will hear a sucking sound whenever the car is on, that's the intake sucking in air. When you hit the gas, not stomped but fairly hard you should hear a deel growl as you gain speed. If your sound is not one of those then it's not normal. You could check to make sure your gromet is all the way on your intake manifold, also on the filter.

 

And when you step on the clutch it goes psshhhttt. Well atleast mine does.

well does anyone know y my car might pull so much now.....when i step on it it pulls like a mutha..im thinking that its not the intake..but i dont think i did anything wrong on the install

i love the sound of my aem intake waaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh VTEC eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, somthin like that

 

is that sound, something like the intake itself sucking up air... my iceman CAI did that h: i lied and told people i had a turbo

but anyways, ive gone through 2 cars already, both with swaps, both with basic bolt-ons...so uhhh....i dont really know what a stock B16B or a B18C GSR feels like

BTW what engine do u have? (Cuz I do know what a stock D16y8 feels like h: )
