Default [QUESTION] New Exhuast.. New Engine

I just finished customising an dual exhaust system for my d16..but (if youve been reading around) im going to be getting a b16 by end of summer.. will i have to get a completely new exhaust system or will this exhaust fit the new headers i get with the new engine?

will need to be modified to fit...and mite I suggest getting rid of the dual exhaust.

well the body kit i have has holes for 2 canisters... so im gonna get a dual-titanium exhaust

but since its catback cant i just get a new catalytic converter to make up for the length?

You don't need a new cat to make up the length. Any reputable exhaust shop can get you the length you need with some shims, or cutting and welding in some pipe. If you want to buy another cat then go ahead, but I don't see the point.

sounds good, so i can keep this new exhaust and then with a few extra molding and some cuts it will fit fine - thanks

Something i think that would be easier is get a shop to fiberglass up the other exhaust tip hole in the body kit, my friend did it and it looks good. That way you're not running dual exhaust on a 4 cyclinder and it would be cheaper.
