Default Strut mount top nut help!!

f.y.i. '96 civic ex

I've been putting on new lowering springs, and I almost had the strut back in the fork when the top nut holding the whole thing together shot off. I've found the washer and everything, but the nut is still missing. Is there anyway I can get another one, or what should i do.

I talked to a guy at Autozone that said the name of the part, but i forgot, but he said they didn't carry it.

I really need to finish this up, its my daily driver!!

Just go to the hardware store w/ another nut and get one that is the same size and thread just so you can drive it
(if you do this, get 2 nuts from the hardware - 1 can be used as a locknut)
