what is this smell?

what is this smell?
smells like burnt marshmallows, lot and lots of black around my tailpipe. anyone know the _cause_ of it? im thinking gasoline additives local to SE wiskin, and any cures would be appreciated.

look at your undercarraige and exhuast pipe. you might of caught something under there.

maybe you are running too rich? thats what I always though largte amts of black soot mean... and from your other post.. you don't have a heat shield anymore... maybe you caught something on your cat... or something hit it... causing a hole?
