I just ordered me a set but they did not fit into the dampener arm. I thought they were direct replacement. I checked to see if I was sent the parts but they are the correct ones. Should I have to modify anything? I drive a 92-95 civic si.

DOUBLE Check to make sure the part numbers are correct, otherwise, they should fit or you're doing something wrong.

 

The part numbers are correct but bottom in of the shock is too wide and will not fit into the dampener arm.
