Can anybody change the front parking light/turn signals into just turn signals since they are dual filament??? Or will 1156 single filament bulbs fit into the 1157 dual fil. bulb sockets and fit??? anybody got any ideas or know what to do???

You can cover up the contact that provdes power to the parking light filament with tape or something so current wont pass through it.

So you don't want it on as parking lights, but you just want them to work as turn signal lights?

By the way, 1156 bulbs won't fit into the 1157 sockets.

the problem with cutting the constant wire is that the blinkers blink with both filiments hot, so cutting the parking light out will make you blinkers dimmer.

its like in the brake lights, when they're normally on, they have the one filiment burning, but the second you tap the brakes, the second filiment comes on. Same thing as above if you were to change that.

one thing you can do to not change the brightness and still get rid of the parking light is to cut the constant wire, and then run a wire from the intermitant power (that gets power when you throw your blinker) to the other filiment that was on constant. That way, both filiments light up correctly

Same here!! You would'nt happen to have those fake arse hybrid bulbs do you? The filaments on those are so thin they burn out quick.

Wha??? Unlike the EF's, EG's only have one corner/parking/turn signal light per side. The courtesy light the doood has are part of his headlights.
