my speedometer works fine, it goes up and down smoothly, but it is off by about 8mph, ive tested it driving behind friends and those police things that tell you how fast you are going.. anyway, is there a way to adjust it or do i have to replace the vss?

 

good question mine gets less accurate the faster i go and i found that every couple weeks i have to push back in the cable but i suggest checking the cable under the hood and make sure its in nice and snug

 

did this, unplugged and replugged in vss, looks like it has a good connection and everything, i mean it works smoothly... its just... wrong..
