Finish my D series build *PICS*
Hey guys- I don't make it much on here anymore, but some of the OG's may remember me ....
exhaust needs a high flow cat and resonator cuz its soooo ****ing loud.
my setup:
D16y8 block and head
CP 0.5mm overbore 9:1 pistons
Eagle Rods
ARP head studs
crower valvesprings
crower titanium retainers
zex 105300 cam
Ported and polished head
AEM cam gear
Ported Intake manifold
Equal length manifold
Tial BOV and 38mm Wastegate
Precision SC50 .63 a/r
3 inch DOWNPIPE WITH A/C intact!!!!
3 inch all the way back with a magnaflow muffler
I am amazed by Dan's work from first state motorsports (www.fsmoto.com)- he amazingly got a full 3 inch downpipe to fit with A/C in there!!!
got the car today, it is soo ****ing loud... and it hesitates alot before 3500 rpm.... anyone have issues with their zex cam being sluggish in the lower powerband?
Also i have a magnaflow race muffler im gonna weld in as a resonator... but i might just get a high flow car cuz this is absurdly loud...
Dyno and tuning on april 11th with booted hybrid
any fellow d series guys are welcome to see me make power then

don't worry oc, red cap is gonna be polished, and the engine will be cleaned up...
as far as power wise... 300whp (prolly around 15-17 psi)

Oh, what EMS? If it's Hondata, you might have an old version and that hesitation is from that. Have it reflashed with the new firmware and it will get rid of it. If not.. I dunno.

I know this sounds really simple and stupid, but how are your grounds?
I know a hesitation exactly like that thats hardcore evident in RX-7's due to bad grounding -- *shrug* just a suggestion.
