poor hatch)besides, teg rails lower your seats, and make you look straight-up gangsta :woowoo:
if you want to feel more secure, you can tap a hole and make them fit correctly.
Whatever safety margin you're willing to live with. Good thing those two incidents just happened to not exceed the limit of the 3 bolts.
4 bolts gives you original engineered safety margin (or close to it). 3 bolts means you are cutting it down by (actually more than) 25%. The reason why it's more than 25% comprimised is because the 3 bolts are not spread evenly over the base of the chair. Thus you have a enbalanced secured base which weakens it in certain circumstances.
TO SUMMARIZE FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T GET OR REFUSE TO UNDERSTAND THIS: you won't die in every situation of course. But you significantly reduce the safety margin that the engineers built into the design. Your choice.

for riceburnins girl, sure, 4 bolts is cool  I'm just too lazy to swap the rails when 3 bolts works just fine. How many of you have driven on 3 lugs before?
