Default Compressor Questions

First the backround. I got a 93 civic lx that used r12 but I retrofitted to r134a. It cooled pretty good and I was happy, but now my compressor is shot. so, would a r134a compressor off a d16z6 work with what I got, or do I have to replace the rest of the crap (condensor, etc??) also while im on the a\c topic, when my a\c ran there was some squeeking here and there, but when im WOT theres a loud squeel when the a\c was on, this some kind of belt? and if so will I be taking off that belt while replacing the compressor? (what's the belt called?)

I know this is a lot of questions but I know HAN won't let me down thanks!

hondas use a few types of compressors made by different japanese suppliers most popular hitachi and denso. if you dont know for sure it it would have to be trial fitted and have the correct pulley. your best bet is to take it to an expert bec unless you have a gas vaccum you will never be able to properly remove all the old gas and recharge.

i've been reading and I guess an EX compressor wont work on a d15. any confirmation to this? also do I need to replace the drier when replaceing the compressor? thanks. I originally had a sanden, so should I get a r134a sanden off a d15b7?
