Default b16

im trying to figure out which way to go with my jdm 94 b16a.i want to go all motor with this b16.i want civic type r internals, maybe integra type r internals but someone told that i might not be able to go with integra type r internals because pistons wont fit unless i bore it out. or should i go with civic type r internals. which will give me higher compression and more horsepower with less hassles? i smoked guy at work, he has a 2001 eclipse spyder gt.so he is going to get a suburu sti spend $35,000 and smoke me. so i want to go all motor and still keep up with this guy or embarass him.

if he gets an sti you'll have a hell of a time trying to keep up unless you're boosting as well.

itr pistons will fit into a b16. rods and crank will not.

itr rods and crank wont fit into that block without a deckplate and some major machining/clearancing (the kinda stuff even a skilled engine builder would shy away from). For that kinda work you're better off starting over with a new engine.

If you wanna keep up with an sti at the track, you'll probably need more than what a stock itr/ctr has to offer. Sounds like its time for a full build-up
