Default Whats with A Civic CX??

Whats the scoop with a 1992 Civic CX:

I just picked one up for my wife (The car was CHEAP and she wanted a second vehicle).

Its a 5-spd
has icecold AC
has NO power steering
And is SSSSLLLLOOOOWWW.........
I drove it this AM to work and was doing 45 in 2nd gear. This car has the tallest gears I've ever seen....

I could't spin the tires to save my life.......

It has a ground pounding 70 hp to the crank coming out of the 8 valve 1.5 liter engine.

I have one too. Nice and slow.

Yeah, but your car is just shy of 2100 lbs. Put a B18C in there and you'll see why they kick ass.

The civic CX is a good project base. One of my buddies picked one up for $800 (no sh-tuff!) which needed a clutch, had bad AC, and cosmetic damage from hitting a deer. Now, it has an 89 CRX Si 16v head, a fresh new clutch, and we just ripped out the AC. It is a fun little car, but my 87 Si can still take it

i used to spin wheels in my 1988 nova auto. you should be able to crank her...but if you got extra cars trash that block and enjoy some speed.

btw, my 2nd gear hits 68 at redline. my third is 105, first is 42.

cx/dx has longer gears than other trim models.
