Default License plate screws

Hey guys i got a quick question hopefully someone can answer it soon so i can get on the road. my paper plate expired plus i got a license plate. so now when i went to put my plate on there isnt any screws. I tried all the ones i could find around the house but no luck. do you guys happen to know the size of the screws. I went to ace hardware but they said they couldn't fit one up for me, that i needed to know the size, What the fawk is that. I was like Mutha Facko. anyway can someone help me out. thanx alot

metric bolt, M6X16mm is what honda specs. Any M6 that is less than an inch works fine.
I bought stainless bolts for mine, no more rusting problems.

^ Good info,

If you go to Pepboys or Autozone, they should have these pre-packaged bolts specifically for Honda license plates.

Hey thanx alot guys. i went to autozone and checker, they were like " heres some universal security ones" and I knew they didn't fit so i didn't get them. alright i'll get some of the ones mentioned above. thanx again
