Default cherry ex, should i buy??

I found this cherry 97 ex, and im interesting in buying it but i only have one concern... when i rev it a little it almost sounds like there is exhaust or something on it, but everything is stock... it doesnt sound like a leak because it sounds very clean, its not VERY loud, but it sounds...a little too good for stock I guess, or maybe im just talking out of my ass..

what do you think? is it normal to sound so good ? b.t.w. it doesnt really sound like it after about 3000 rpms, once you rev it higher it seems to sound more normal, does this indicate something?

thanks in advance.

i didnt check that in depth, but given the type of person driving it i would assume its a regular filter... is there anything i can check to see if there is a leak or some type of damage, i check the underbody and its all stock pipes and stock muffler, cat looks untouched, anything else i can check when i go over there tomorrow?
