Default Lug nuts

hey,

just ordered some 16" rims. im looking for some red lug nuts. i dont really care what brand, they need to have locks and under 100$. also, what size thread would i need?

12x1.5mm thread pitch, Mcgard or Gorilla are fine.

Alright, im looking at the ones PDiggityDogg suggested....is 12x1.25 thread ok for my 00 civic ex?

whats the difference between long and short ones and tuner ones? Im looking at red zenki forged racing lug nuts. http://estores.merchantpartners.com/...hp?cPath=46_48 advantages/disadvantages? is there a better one?

The long wheel lugs are used if you're using extended wheel studs (which I doubt you are).

The short lugs, are well.... Short. Does the same thing. This is what you'll most likely be buying.

The "Tuner" lugs are meant to be used for wheels that use really small holes and have very little room to accomodate a wheel lug and have a lug wrench go over it. So the hex design is on the inside as opposed to the outside like a standard wheel lug.

Get some reg old honda lugs or have them painted/powdercoated.
Locking lugs are not that hard to get off,they make it harder but they make tools for them.
Save your $$$,if someone wants your rims bad enough,they will get them.
I had some gorillas,lost the key,and had to get a tool to get them off.
