If the clutch is being replaced, but other opportunities are there?
It's starting to look like I'll need a new clutch soon or live with the cold stutter.
Anyways, so I would NOT be doing the job myself, so considering how expensive labor is, what other opportunistic things should I consider replacing/upgrading/fixing while they're pulling the tranny off to change the clutch?
- lightweight flywheel?
- new drive axels?
- LSD?
- check health of the synchros and gears?
- (do they automatically replace tranny fluid with new stuff?)
- ???

- lightweight flywheel? might as well, it would need to be resurfaced anyway
- new drive axels? not unless there's anything wrong with them
- LSD? Would require dissassembly of the trans itself
- check health of the synchros and gears? see above
- (do they automatically replace tranny fluid with new stuff?) tell them to just to be sure

make sure you have your flywheel cleaned up for the new clutch, i would recommend having a machine shop due it properly and also shave off a few pounds. i was quoted 200 for an install and for flywheel to be resurfaced, but those are friend prices, so im not sure how much it would cost
