Default goin the other route....

im thinking of a supercharger for my D16Y7. has anyone here done this ? how was the outcome? worth it ?

before i do the supercharger, i may do the mini-me swap to the engine, and put in stronger connecting rods, pistons, etc.

would it be nessicary to do the internal work before the supercharger was put on, or can the stock internals handle it?

Might as well do the mini me at the same time just for the better flowing head. As for the internals, it all depends on how long you want it to last and how reliable you want it. If you're spending all this time, do it right and go the extra mile. Get some new pistons and rods.

stock internals can handle the JRSC up to 8 psi safely.

10 psi isn't the same as 10 psi out of a turbo. 10 psi through a charger would probably equal 6-7 psi through a td05h.
